Small Groups

Current Group List

Women

The mission of Evergreen New Hope's women's ministry is to unite women and equip them to follow Christ in every area of their lives, throughout every season of life. Be it through a long chat, good laugh or shared concern, women have a special way of relating to each other. Evergreen New Hope women's events include fall and spring retreats, a Christmas brunch and summer Bible study.  Check the announcements for upcoming women's events.

Women's Support Group

Mondays, 6:30-8:00 PM, Evergreen- New Hope, Room 101. The Women’s Support Group is for women to come together in Biblical community to support each other through life issues and to learn how to suffer well through scripture. The issues that they or loved ones have might include depression, eating disorders, addictions, marital struggles, abortion, abuse, loneliness, codependency, illness, etc. This is a safe and confidential ongoing group. Women will have opportunity to share their hearts and pray. We’ll also go through various books together. Questions? Contact Kim Ovikian at 612-417-5599 or kim@ovikianelectric.com.

Men

There is a tendency in our society for men to isolate themselves and become “rugged individualists.” At Evergreen New Hope we believe that men need to establish strong, godly relationships with other men. Our Men’s Ministry provides guidance and support to help men grow spiritually and make a difference in the world.  Check the announcements for upcoming men's events.

Families

While marriage and parenting are some of the happiest and most rewarding life experiences, they are equally intense and stressful. Evergreen New Hope wants to help your family be a success. Check the announcements for upcoming family events.

Pre-Marriage Class

Many couples never learn what makes a marriage successful before they get married.  That’s why Evergreen New Hope offers a pre-marriage class.  (We also recommend this class to any couple married for 5 years or less that has had little or no pre-marriage training.) The format for each meeting includes a message (often taught by a husband/wife team) followed by smaller group discussions.  Weekly projects are assigned for the couples to complete outside of the class.  Attendance at this class is required for couples who desire to get married by an Evergreen pastor or who desire to use an Evergreen facility for their wedding and/or wedding reception.  For upcoming class dates, check our announcements.
