At Evergreen New Hope we desire to partner with you in cultivating the spiritual growth of your children and teens. We want you to be successful in guiding them toward becoming fully devoted followers of Christ. We are here to support you in this endeavor. Our part in this mission is to provide the best possible care and instruction in the Word of God for your children, as well as tailored, relevant programs and services for teens.
Evergreen New Hope's nursery is divided by age groups and staffed by loving, caring, workers. Our desire is to provide the most caring and secure environment possible.
Our ministry is divided into four age brackets:
3-year-olds – 1st grade
Each age / grade level has their own private classroom and uses a curriculum geared to their specific age. They begin with a large group time consisting of worship, puppet shows and teaching time.
2nd grade – 3rd grade
These students have their own classroom and their own large group teaching time. The curriculum is specific for this age range with each group covering the same curriculum for the specified week.
4th grade – 5th grade
These students meet in the fireside area closest to the north entrance of the church. Girls and boys are separated into class specific rooms during the small group teachings while coming together as a large group for praise and worship as well as a large group teaching each week.
6th grade – 7th grade - "the gap"
Sundays during the service, Room #10. Specifically designed to fill the “GAP” between Promiseland and Teen Group, the GAP offers age appropriate lessons for middle school age kids. Volunteers engage students with fun lessons and activities to emphasize biblical truths.
The mission of Teen House Church is to train Evergreen New Hope's teens (8th through 12th graders) to be mature followers of Jesus Christ. The vehicle used to accomplish this mission is a unique, bi-weekly meeting. During this time, worship songs and biblical teachings are ordered around The Lord's Supper. We also provide opportunities for the teens to serve the New Hope community several times per year. Parents in general, and dads in particular, play an indispensable role in training up the teens in the way they should go, and are encouraged to attend and participate in each House Church.
In addition to Teen House Church, there are a number of other teen ministry events including leadership training and outreach, conferences, service opportunities and short term missions. Check the announcements for upcoming teen events.
