Do you want to help out at church on your own schedule? The Cleaning Ministry is a great way to do that! We ask you commit 2-4 hours/month, cleaning a certain area assigned to you each month. Come whenever you want (pending certain activities, like a wedding). Many of our volunteers have been in this ministry for more than 5 years because they love the flexibility. It's also a great way to have quiet time because you're usually working on your own. Contact Annika at email@example.com

Saturday, November 15, 8:30 AM-12:00 PM, Evergreen-Bloomington, Auditorium. We want to be a church that reflects the Kingdom of God. Diversity brings much wealth to our local church but it also brings challenges. In order to overcome these challenges, in love, we must learn to understand the different cultures around us including our own. Learning a foreign language is only the beginning of communicating, understanding and relating with a foreign-born person.
The whole church is invited to come and learn how to reflect the Kingdom as we become an ethnically diverse congregation. Our speakers will be YWAM (Youth With A Mission) missionaries, Lucio and Vanita Berumen.

December 27-30, Iowa Events Center, Des Moines, IA. At Faithwalkers 2014, we will focus on God's heroes. We will study the lives of individuals who, just like all of us, were ordinary people - men and women who despite their sins, their weaknesses, and their failures, became heroes for the cause of Christ.
* Faithwalkers is an annual conference that happens between Christmas and New Years and is sponsored by member churches and ministries of Great Commission Churches. Each year, Christians from these churches gather to be inspired to live passionate lives for their Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
