Saturday, January 17, 5:00-10:00 PM, Evergreen-Bloomington, East Gathering Space. Baby, it's cold outside, but the competition for the best chili and wings is really heating up. Bring the best pot of chili or wings (at least three dozen) and take home a fabulous prize, as well as bragging rights for an entire year. Bring a couple bucks to help offset the costs of the event and if you don’t bring chili or wings, bring a side dish or dessert. We’ll be playing games afterwards so bring your favorite game! Questions? Email Tim at email@example.com.
Year-end giving is important to our church and helps us to grow into new Kingdom opportunities. For your gift to be a 2014 contribution, your check must be dated 2014 AND be given to Evergreen in 2014. Place your gift in the offering basket by Sunday, December 28 or mail your gift to: Evergreen Church, 2300 E 88th St, Bloomington, MN 55425-2185. All mailed gifts must be postmarked December 31 to be a 2014 gift. Question? Contact our Finance Director, Jim Bird, at 952-564-3771 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
December 27-30, Iowa Events Center, Des Moines, IA. At Faithwalkers 2014, we will focus on God's heroes. We will study the lives of individuals who, just like all of us, were ordinary people - men and women who despite their sins, their weaknesses, and their failures, became heroes for the cause of Christ.
* Faithwalkers is an annual conference that happens between Christmas and New Years and is sponsored by member churches and ministries of Great Commission Churches. Each year, Christians from these churches gather to be inspired to live passionate lives for their Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
