Christmas in the Gospels

December Message Series

Most of us think of the events of the first Christmas as a single story, but actually, there are four separate accounts of the coming of the infant Jesus. Each contrasting portrayal complements the others, giving us a full picture of the importance of Christmas. We will explore each of these accounts of the Christmas story to gain a more complete picture of the meaning of this incredible time of year!

The Gospel of John

Thursday, December 24, 3:15 PM. Join your church family as we celebrate Christmas, family style! Adults and children will worship together at our Christmas Eve service. No childcare will be provided.

NO Gap meeting Christmas Week

There will be no GAP class for 6th -8th Graders on Sunday 12/27. Students should attend the service with their parents that morning. Classes will resume on Sunday, January 3.

Parenting Support Group

Every third Monday of the month, 7:00-9:00 PM, at the Johnson’s home in Brooklyn Park. For families of kids with behavior issues such as ADD/ADHD, Autism, ODD, Bipolar Disorder, etc - You are not alone! Even though we know our kids are designed just as God intended, parenting those with behavioral issues and/or learning disabilities can be a unique challenge. Faithwalkers 2015

“Defining Moments.”

December 31-January 3, Iowa Event Center, Des Moines, Iowa. Faithwalkers is a yearly conference for followers of Christ to be encouraged in their faith with passionate worship, practical Biblical teaching, and fellowship. This year’s theme is “Defining Moments.” Come and join other faithwalkers from around the country and the world as we hear from the God who transforms our lives through defining moments. Support & Recovery Groups

At Evergreen-Bloomington, (2300 E 88th Street. Enter door H into the North Hall). We meet in topic specific small groups to help us get and stay "on track" in life. Child care is provided. 

Mondays, (through May 23, 2016) 7:00-8:30 PM.Totally Free  is a simple Christ-centered “12 Step” program of recovery where we provide support for those seeking freedom from self-destructive lifestyles. Our weekly meetings provide a safe place to gain freedom and God’s healing alongside those recovering from similar self-destructive tendencies-- drug addiction, alcoholism, pornography, gambling, uncontrollable anger/fear, depression, and eating disorders.
