As a church, we have a chance to own the building where we meet. God has put us in an incredible position where the ownership of this facility is within our reach.
The “Own It” capital campaign at Evergreen New Hope will run from April 1, 2012 through March 31, 2015. “Own It” is designed in part to pay off the debt on our building so that we can be in a solid, God-honoring financial position with the ability to do more and greater ministry.
However, the “Own It” campaign is about more than just paying off the debt on a piece of property. There are four key aspects of the “Own It” campaign:
• Own Your Faith
• Own the Vision
• Own Your Role
• Own This Building
Evergreen New Hope is a community of people who come together to worship and serve a Savior who is worthy of our entire lives. It is our desire that every person who is a part of this church would “own” their faith – that it would be real and personal. We want people to “own” the vision of our church - to truly embrace the vision and be willing to give their lives to what God is doing here. We want people to “own” their role - to see that we will only accomplish God’s purpose for us if every part works together. And finally, we want to own this building so that we are able to free up financial resources for greater ministry opportunities.
We are excited to see what God will do in our church during the “Own It” campaign. Remember, this campaign is not about the building. It is about our faith and our relationship with God. Let’s “Own It” together!
